wow.

well I haven't posted anything in awhile. my bad. my laptop broke for awhile. hm, a quick update.

there was a basement show with One Win Choice, Saint Catharines and The Holy Mess and it fucking ruled. there was also that fucking incredible show at the church with Glocca Morra, Tigers Jaw, Algernon Cadwallader and the Menzingers. it was such a retarded show. knew so many people there, it sold out, and every band was a blast. it almost felt like fest again. also Jeff Riddle has been living with us for awhile. i know for Dans birthday we went to the station bar one night. i walked there with Jeff really drunk after going to rays birthday bar. then we had a surprise birthday party for Dan that friday night at Lauren and Marys house and it was crazy. got very drunk and had a dance party or something. uh, what else has happened? there was an acoustic show at the fernon house. Hop Along and Restorations played. I didn't watch either of them. just got really drunk. that was last thursday. I went out to dinner with my dad that night. he finally saw my new house and was very impressed with the upgrade from my old house.we went to royal tavern and drank that night before i went to that show. friday i worked and then after work decided i wanted to get drunk. so i bought a jug of whiskey and greg barnett came over, so did zack schwartz and will and andy (his roomates) and sabrina. eventually jeff woke up and we all got really drunk. eventually andy and nick came home and then greg jef sabrina and i went to the dolphin, where i threw up in the bathroom and passed out at the bar while girls were stripping. then rode to laurens house to sleep. saturday i went to royal tavern with greg barnett, greg karlowitch, agusuta, jeff and lauren!, we sat with some of laurens friends we ran into there. and then we came up with the great idea of buying a keg in the day time and having a day keg party. and then we actually followed through and did it. we had the keg opened by 3 and kicked by 10. we had the party and the menzingers house and it was crazy. so many people showed up. all in all a VERY sucessfull party/day keg thing. we kept tallies of our beers and keg stands on our arm. i had 19 marks and one K the next morning. we called it the "xxx.casey jones. stay positive.support your scene. jeffs birthday party.day keg.xxx" and it definitely lived up to its name. i was home and in bed by 11 that night. sunday i had to wake up very early for work. after work i went home and layed around for awhile then lauren came over and we made brinner and watched Adventureland and it was great. today i worked and after work i jsut hung around. finished booking a show and then made dinner and watched SNL, which was GREAT and then went to acme and now im home.

I'm very stoked cause I'm having a pretty good week. just getting lots of good news. doing merch for Luther tomorrow at the Fire with Diry Tactics and Cobra Skulls. then doing merch for The Great Explainer at the Stone Pony on wed with Full Speed Ahead, Anti-Flag and Bouncing Souls. then merch for the Holy Mess at the after party at the lanes that same night with Banquets. then doing merch for The Menzingers thursday at the Stone Pony with Dirty Tactics, Strike Anywhere and Bouncing Souls. then friday is the Holy Mess/Menzingers/Loved Ones show at the OX. then sunday is the acoustic show i booked at the Banana Stand with Jeff Riddle, Ark Royal, Luther, The Menzingers and PJ Bond. jesus, and i have work every morning. i am going to be dead.
also found out i'm going on a weekend tour with Glocca Morra and Ah, Horse Hockey at the end of the month and the saturday date is happened less then a mile from my parents house. so THAT works out pretty nicely.

man, i hope making this post doesn't jinx anything.

one year

this past weekend was my one year anniversary with Lauren Tazza, and it has been a fantastic year and I couldn't ask for anything more.

The Haverchucks - All My Time With You

this week.

i worked last wed. don't think i did anything after work. thursday i switched my friday shift to thursday and worked in the morning. after work i cleaned the house a bit and showered and hung out with dan. we bought flowers and dropped the vaccum off at lauren and marys house then walked home. then we watched Harry and The Hendersons to kill time until midnight when we had to go pick up the girls from the airport at midnight. we got them and lauren wasn't feeling well. she got me a Fucked Up seven inch and a Playboy from the 70s from her trip. we then went to bed. the next day she was pretty sick still and we just hung out at her house all day. took her to the doctors at some point. didn't do much else other then lay on the couch and watch tv. i got to wathc a bunch of snl documentaries. we went to bed eventually. saturday she was called into work early and i went home and showered and hung out at my house. eventually i went over to dads haus for the show i booked. walked to another house with mike to get the pa and speakers then walked back and hung out with tim burke for awhile. eventually everyone got there. Ah,Horse Hockey played first and were ok. to be honest i didn't really watch any of the bands. Brickmower and Backpocket played next. later on tim told me "That was one of the best Philly shows I ever played in any band." and i've done shows for him in The Measure [sa], Gordie Howe Hattrick and Helloids. after them Spraynard played and then Glocca Morra played. that night was lauren and i's one year anniversary. both the last bands announced that and lauren was not stoked on that. after the show we just went home and went to bed. sunday i woke up there and hung out for awhile watching digital shorts with lauren then went home. worked out and showered and did some laundry but my dryer broke so i ended up being delayed and missed the lemuria/byrds of paradise show. me and lauren went out to dinner for our anniversary that night at devils den. it was very nice. afterwards we got ice cream and pop corn and went to my house and watched Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and most of Hot Rod. then we went to bed. i was woken up at 4 am by my roommates being very loud which sucked. monday i worked early and when i got out i came home and went to my room and watched SNL for a few hours. eventually went downstairs and hung out with andy nick greg phil and tom and ate tacos. me and greg came up with a new funny thing to do while talking and tom confessed he made the missed connection for me. eventually i felt drunk and tired and went to bed. today i worked again. it was super icey out so i had to take the subway to work which sucked too. oh well. this week is almost over and this weekend is going to rule.

son of a bitch. i haven't updated this in so long. um, in the past two weeks i know i watched some more rocky movies, new years happened, i went to some shows and spent almost two weeks alone cause lauren went on vacation and i was really sad. that about sums it up.

here are some pictures from new years where everyone got really drunk, we had 14 countdowns, adrian sprayed our ceiling with champagne, dan sprayed matt manhire with champagne, lauren broke the lamp and passed out, dan shot fireworks at our neighbors house, i cut down a sign, and the rest becomes a blur.

as far as shows...i know i saw lavis blake and glocca morra at the banana stand, and both bands were great. i know i saw omar and black wine at the banana stand, black wine were great and played my requests, and omar were great but i heckled them the entire time and candice punched me mid song. i know i saw bomb the music industry at the fire, it was sold out and i didnt watch the openers and talked to patO and yosco all ngiht. and i know i saw luther and everyone everywhere at kfn and spent the entire night drinking with patO and eating pizza.

also know i spent a random saturday with jenni and watched the movies Brothers and Big Fan, the latter of which jenni bailed on me before it ended. both were ok. i also know i have spent WAY to much time lately watching Saturday Night Live, all random seasons and read pretty much everything on every season of snl on wikipedia. 

i don't spend my time well.

i'm gonna try to change that in 2011? i really want to try.

Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger

"...not in a good way"

okay so last monday night i watched Exit Through The Gift Shop and it was great. I've even watched it a few times since then. after that i picked lauren up from work, dropped her off at home and went back home and went to bed.
tuesday i had truck at cvs. it wasn't to bad. i think i was there for about 12 hours that day. after work i went over to laurens and hung out there. don't really remember details actually. oh well.
wenesday i didnt have truck for the first time in like FOREVER.i know i spent the morning hanging out with lauren for a bit then went home and hung out at home for most of the day. alter that night i went to ikea to meet this lady who made earrings for lauren that i was giving to her for christmas. then i went back home and got pretty drunk and hung out with blackbeard, yosco, o, redbeard, murphy, scotty and a couple other people. lauren came over eventually and hung out too.
thursday i woke up and had a interview at 2. hung out at my house before that. then drove up to it. it ended up being a scam. after it i went home and packed my shit up. alex came over and picked me up and drove me home. got home around 5 thirty. then took a shower and ate dinner with my family for the first time in a long time. after that i went out and bought some booze and then went to dunkin donutes with some people and then me and jenni went to cayces house and hung out there for a hot minute then i went home and went to bed.
friday i woke up and was blown off by jenni so i waited around for marc and we went to borders and i got a book for my dad and we ran into tom cladek and talked to him for awhile then marc took me home. i showered and drove to laurens house for christmas eve dinner there. alot of her family was there and it wa a lot of fun. ate very well. hung out there pretty late, i think until like 1 and then drove home. i stayed up pretty late that night and finished watching Rocky 2 finally. it was really great. i get so into it when i watch those movies.
saturday was christmas. i was the lastest i woke up on christmas ever. went downstairs and opened presents with my family. i got seven seasons of the simpsons on dvd, some clothes and $250, so ya know, a good holiday. after that i watched Horton Hears A Who with my dad. then i went and picked up lauren at her house and we went to my sisters house in brick. spent most of christmas day there playing with my nieces and nephews. after we were tired of that we went back to laurens house, bridget came with us and then took my moms car back home and me and lauren drove back to philly. when we got back we exchanged gifts at her house. she got me Aziz Ansari tickets at carnegie hall and she blew up a poster i made for a show at terrordome and framed it, so pretty much the best gifts ever. after that we started watching ETTGS but we got tired and started falling asleep in the middle and went to bed.
so sunday i woke up at laurens and walked home pretty early. it was snowing pretty bad all day long. i was bored for most of the day. i watched Rocky 3 and ordered pizza and sat around for most of the day. i shovled the sidewalk at one point. eventually danillie and tony came over and hung out. then zack jp kiko and andy came over, and arik a little after that. we all sat around and watched Party Down and ate pizza, a lot more pizza was ordered that night, and left at my house, which i am sitll eating. eventually lauren came over and hung. thene veryone started to leave around 1 and me and lauren went to bed,
yesterday i woke up at my house with lauren. we got dressed and walked to her house to eat. we ate laftovers from christmas and finished watching ETTGS and then watched some more Party Down, showered and then walked back to me house and ate leftover pizza and then left to walk to the show. what a shitty walk in the wind, especially carrying all the mic stands. got there early. greek favoruteis were there waiting. then ape up! showed up, then the other bands. it was a fun show, but not very profitable. greeks played first, but i didnt watch them. then ape up played and i watched most of there set. then boys and sex played and i missed there set to collect some money and play video games. then peter the piano eater played last and was really great but i only saw one or two songs really. i'm just really really burnt out on live music these days. after the show we piled 9 people into a car (i was in the trunk with the singer of ape up! and and a bunch of sleds and my snow shovel) and drove to 11th and wharton and started watching Predator 2 but then me lauren and daniele went back to there house and hung out with mary and dan, which was great cause i hadn't seen dan in a few days or mary in forever. mary/dan gave me a anice scarf for xmas too which was unexpected and nice. i went to bed pretty early after that.
today i woke up and went to some mexican place with lauren and ape up and got burritos. it was cool hanging out with them again. after that me and lauren walked back to her house, where i found out the HFTH show was canceled so it left me with nothing to do tonight. so i walked home, hungout with all my roommates for a bit and then drove lauren to work and here i am.
